Between security and insecurity, you meet me in the middle, and in the middle, I’m braver.

It is our common ground and I am certain that it is the closest thing — if not the best — I could get and be with you in this world full of failures, victories, certainties, and trepidation. It’s like a match made in heaven – you, doing the things that you love, and I, loving the things that you do.

I would like to believe that my insecurities are introspective– if there is even a thing – because I tend to grapple with my dark days until it feels like there is nothing I can do to stop it. But because of you, your music, your personalities, among grand schemes of things, I learned how to face my demons. Since I met you, I always think about a beautiful sky, even on bad days, and thank you for being the sunshine.

Autumn in Vancouver

Canada was never on my bucketlist mainly because I know full well that I can’t afford it; but opportunity came knocking on my door when my paper was accepted for presentation in an international conference.

Until now, it is still a dilemma

I applied for a Visa, together with my friend whose research was also accepted for presentation, and lucky as I’ve always been for Visas, I got a multiple entry!
