This trip was planned last year and it was finally pushed through last weekend and yes, a long drive to Nueva Ecija.
The night of our trip, we had to drive to Novaliches to get Black Beauty (Avanza) because she’s our life-saver. xx We reached Ms. Berna’s home/farm at 11 in the evening and the place is worth the dread from the 3-hour dive.

Int. Morning. Padolina’s Farm. Breakfast and preparing for the highlights of the rest and recreation.

Ext. Morning to Noon. Minalungao National Park. (And our vanities, of course)
We tried the zip line first and could you believe that you will just spend 50 pesos for one way? Yes, humanity, yes. 
Hike/trek to the cave. Swimming. Balsa ride.
Int. Noon. Lunch kaartehan.
Int. Afternoon. Preps and drive to Cabanatuan.
Ext. Cabanatuan. And halo-halo in mason jar. 😀
And another long drive back to the metro. xx
Indeed, Lord, we cannot stop singing:
