Thank you, Sir!

I cried like a baby earlier today because there was a conflict between my interests: to stay here with Pop for he is leaving on the 21st or to go home to cover the product launch for media at Laoag for The Ilocos Times.

In Alpha Phi Omega, we were taught about the hierarchy of loyalty. Family comes first than other loyalties to come.

Then I realized that crying can never be the answer.

So, I texted Sir Esmino that I can’t go home and I need to spend quality time with my father. This is bravery at its best. I’ve waited for his text message, so afraid that I might not get the internship slot in their publication,

Then..

He told me that it’s okay, wished me a safe flight back home and he said that he hopes to see me soon.

I know that pursuing my internship in the The Ilocos Times is my best choice this summer though I nearly lose hope last Wednesday.

YES! I GOT ACCEPTED AS AN INTERN YESTERDAY.

Thank you so much, Sir Esmino. Thank you, The Ilocos Times.

The lady here is so thankful and happy.

Isn’t that great? 🙂

What do you think?
